Boyhood Bluebird Chris Gunter joined Cardiff City's backroom staff on an interim basis in April 2025, as Aaron Ramsey stepped into the First Team Manager role for the final three fixtures of the 2024/25 season.

The former defender, who began his career in the Welsh capital before making over 700 competitive appearances throughout his playing career, has recently gained coaching experience within the Wales Men's setup, as well as leading the Red Dragons' U19 team since 2024.
