Ryotaro Tsunoda joined Cardiff City from J1 League side, Yokohama F. Marinos in January 2024.

He immediately joined KV Kortrijk on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season.

Having signed professional terms with Yokohama in the summer of 2021, Ryotaro made 16 First Team appearances in the Japanese top flight during the 2023 season and has represented his country at U18 and U20 levels.
