Goalkeeper Ethan Horvath signed for the Bluebirds on a permanent transfer from Nottingham Forest on February 1st, 2024.

The 28-year-old spent time in Norway and Belgium before making the move to the Championship with Nottingham Forest in 2021.

Horvath earned promotion to the Premier League with Forest during his first season at the City Ground, coming off the bench in their 2022 Championship Play-Off Final victory. He then joined Luton Town on loan and enjoyed more Play-Off success, winning consecutive promotions to the top flight.

During his time at Kenilworth Road, the stopper recorded 20 league clean sheets in 44 appearances. He also has nine international caps to his name, and was named in the United States squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
