Kion Etete joined Cardiff City FC on a permanent transfer from Tottenham Hotspur on August 4th, 2022.

The forward joined Spurs' youth setup from Notts County in 2019, having previously made his senior debut for the Magpies in an EFL Trophy fixture at the age of 16.

The 22-year-old joined League Two side Northampton Town for the first half of the 2021/22 season, scoring six goals in 23 appearances for the Cobblers. In January 2022 he made the step up to League One outfit Cheltenham Town, scoring a further three goals from 13 appearances throughout the remainder of their campaign.

Etete joins the Bluebirds on a deal that will see him stay in the Welsh capital until 2025. In his first two seasons in South Wales, the forward scored nine goals in 62 games in all competitions.
