Tom joined the academy at U14 level. The Cardiff-based youngster is a converted left back, having previously fulfilled midfield roles.

An accurate, composed and creative player on the ball, Tom represented the U18 side consistently in the 2020/21 season, also making several pre-season appearances for the First Team in the summer of 2021.

Tom made his competitive First Team debut against Sutton United in August 2021, before signing his first professional deal with City two months later.

The Wales U21 international spent the duration of the 2023/24 campaign on loan with Kilmarnock, before signing a new deal in South Wales in June 2024.
