Neil Warnock held a pre-match press conference at the Vale Resort ahead of Sunday’s Severnside Derby clash with Bristol City.
The Gaffer began by confirming the re-signing of former Bluebird Armand Traoré, who has signed a deal until December 31st, 2019.
“He has signed as cover," explained Neil. "He’s been with us six weeks and he’s just about got up to fitness.
"It’s a short-term contract in case anything happens. The fans know him; he’s got a very good left foot and loads of ability.
"He has trained really hard in the time he has been with us. It’s an appearance-based contract as well, so it’s up to him."
The City boss then set his sights on derby day at CCS, as he relished Sunday’s midday kick-off against the Robins.
“It’s always special for me,” he added. “And I always get a loud welcome from their fans.
“They are two very good sets of fans and clubs. With the game on TV too, it’ll be a super atmosphere. It's a good rivalry and I think we're all looking forward to it.”
