U9s take first steps as Bluebirds at presentation day

The Bluebirds’ newest recruits were welcomed to City’s Academy with a presentation event at Cardiff City Stadium. 

Having joined the Club at U9 level, the young Bluebirds will look to build on what has been a positive season for the Academy, with the U15s winning the EFL Floodlit Cup, as well as the likes of Cian Ashford, Raheem Conte, Joel Colwill, Luey Giles and Cameron Antwi making their senior debuts.

A tour of CCS was held, as well as photos being taken with friends and family. 

Reflecting on the presentation day, Pre-Academy Lead Pete Fordham said: “We are excited to announce the signing of players for the upcoming U9 2024/25 season. Our Academy, led by dedicated staff, will support players and their families in their transition to Cardiff City Football Club as we welcome them to the family.

“We can't wait to give our full support to these young players, helping them both on and off the pitch as they start this exciting journey in the Academy system. Well done to all the boys.”
