The Opposition

Coventry City currently sit fourth in the Professional Development League Group South standings, with 23 points - five points and two places above the Bluebirds.

The Sky Blues concluded the 2018/19 campaign in second place and had 22 more points than they presently have in 2019/20, having played 16 more matches. 

Monday’s visitors have won seven, drawn two and lost three games to date during this campaign and have scored 21 goals, conceding 16. 

Max Biamou is their top scorer so far with seven goals and his closest competitor is David Bremang with three, while three of their ten scorers have netted two: Will Bapaga, Dexter Walters and Gervane Kastaneer.

In the Hot Seat

Luke Tisdale joined Coventry City in July 2012 as Youth Development Coach and progressed to become U23 Head Coach, seven years later. 

The now 29-year-old departed Oxford United for the Sky Blues after three seasons as Academy Coach and prior to that, he held a coaching role with Walsall for a single campaign.
