Cardiff City's U23 side fell to a 2-1 defeat against Ipswich Town in PDL action on Tuesday, October 6th, 2020.
The Bluebirds took an early advantage in Suffolk as forward Isaak Davies ran through to fire home after three minutes.
City were pegged back five minutes later. Town defender Barry Cotter breaking into the area and equalising with a fierce strike.
It was an end-to-end first half - with the two sides going in level.
The Tractor Boys struck early in the second half, taking the lead after 47 minutes. Tawanda Chiwera reaching a ball in behind the City defence, and finishing into the top corner.
Despite City's best efforts to get back into the game in the latter stages of the second period, the hosts held on to secure the three points.
