U21 | Sebastian Kristensen signs for City
Following a successful trial period with Cardiff City's U21 side, Sebastian Kristensen has signed a one-year deal with the Bluebirds, subject to clearance.
Previously within Everton's youth setup, the 19-year-old defender began his youth career with Lyngby BK in his native Denmark.
Upon putting pen-to-paper, Sebastian expressed his excitement at having linked up with the young Bluebirds.
“It’s a great feeling to be here," Sebastian began. "I’m delighted to have joined and it’s a proud moment for myself.
“I’d like to say that I’ve got quality in the defensive side of the game, and try to read it well whilst looking to play out from the back. I want to be contributing to scoring goals where I can as well.
“It’s been brilliant with the boys and staff so far. They’ve really welcomed me in from the first day and the coaches have played a massive part in me joining the Club.
“I’m really looking forward to working within the team this season now that I’m here!”
U21s manager Darren Purse added: “As a squad we’re still young, so it’s nice to add more experience, as we’d already done with Cameron Antwi and Raheem Conte.
"Sebastian fits that mould; he’s come in from a Category 1 academy, has a very good profile and impressed on his trial.
"It’s now down to him to perform, as we look to give him a platform as we go through the season ahead.”
