Cardiff City's U21 side return to PDL action against the R's on Tuesday afternoon - 2pm KO.

Last time out, the young Bluebirds were unfortunate to lose out narrowly against hosts AFC Bournemouth, after twice coming from behind to level against the Cherries away from home.

James Crole and Tanatswa Nyakuhwa were on the scoresheet for City, who now look to return to winning ways with a first victory since their comprehensive 3-0 South Wales Derby win last month.

Tuesday's visitors will provide a sturdy challenge for the young Bluebirds, as QPR have gone on a streak that has seen them undefeated since October.

Currently in third place on the PDL South table, Queens Park Rangers have slowed from their winning form in recent weeks, drawing three of their last four fixtures, with their most recent outing finishing 3-3 away against Ipswich Town.

When the two sides last met in the reverse fixture earlier this season, the R's narrowly came away the victors at Loftus Road, with Crole once again finding the back of the net for City.
