Queens Park Rangers are currently in ninth place on the U21 PDL South table, with five points earned so far this term. The R's earned a point against Crewe Alexandra in their most recent outing on September 5th, with their sole victory so far this season coming against Burnley in August, defeating the Clarets 3-0 away from home.
Ahead of Friday's return to CCS, U21s Manager Darren Purse spoke of the team's desire to bounce back under the floodlights at the home of the Bluebirds:
“The best thing about football is that you’ve always got another game coming up where you can put things right. There’s no better game for that than getting the chance to play in Cardiff City Stadium.
“It’s a great place to play football, and hopefully we can get a few fans in as we did over the summer holidays when we faced Peterborough United for the first game of the season.
“It’s another opportunity for them to come and cheer the boys along on a Friday night, and hopefully with the lads performing to come to a similar result as well.”
