U21 Match Preview | Birmingham City vs. Cardiff City
The young Bluebirds travel to face Blues on Tuesday afternoon - 2pm KO.
Cardiff City's U21 side look to bounce back with their final PDL fixture ahead of their continued Premier League Cup campaign, after falling to a narrow away defeat against Charlton Athletic last week.
Blues are currently in fifth place on the PDL North table, and are currently unbeaten in their last four fixtures, picking up two victories and two draws in that time.
Their most recent victory came on October 31st, when they defeated Crew Alexandra 2-0 away from home.
Ahead of Monday afternoon's meeting, U21s Manager Darren Purse previewed the fixture:
"The games are coming thick and fast for the boys at the moment," began Darren. "A lot of it comes down to how they recover from each game.
"We want to get that consistency on a regular basis, which is the goal when you have a side as young as we do.
"It's all part of their development, and we've been on some tough away games of late. We want to be testing them.
"We've got a few injuries in the side at the moment, but we're looking forward to hopefully getting Owen Pritchard involved soon, as he's been out for a while now. There are a few negatives and positives, so we just need to keep on working for the results."
