PRE-MATCH | MATTHEW BLOXHAM

Ahead of the clash, Matthew Bloxham said: "The biggest boost that we can take from the Everton game is the belief that when we work hard and we stay true to what we're good at, we can be a match for anyone and compete with anyone. We've got loads of quality in the squad, but it's important that the Everton game isn't a one-off and that we look to build on that performance going forward.

"Going back into the league is always a different feeling, but it's important that the boys look to develop a form of consistency that's to be required to become a pro and try and make the step to the next level. Millwall is a great game for us because it's going to be very different from the Everton game in terms of the threat they offer, but equally it's the perfect game for us, because we can show we can compete and we can stand up. We'll look to dominate the ball and be as aggressive on the ball as we can.

"Millwall is always a tough team for us to play against. They are assertive, aggressive in their press, have real strong and powerful runners, and with these three things we're going to have to stand up to that and match it in order to compete. If we do these things, we then give ourselves a platform to play the type of football we want to play and be attack minded."
