U18 Match Preview | Cardiff City vs. Hull City
Cardiff City U18s return to PDL action by welcoming Hull City to Cardiff International Sports Campus.
The fixture will take place on Wednesday, April 3rd, 11am KO.
Prior to the international break, the young Bluebirds claimed a fantastic 5-0 win at Charlton Athletic with a clinical performance.
City are currently fourth in the PDL South, having claimed 11 wins from 19 fixtures this campaign.
Wednesday's opponents are fifth in the PDL North and recorded a 4-0 win over Burnley last time out.
Ahead of the clash, we caught up with U18 head coach Tom Hutton.
"We're really looking forward to getting back to league action," Tom began. "During the international window, many of our players were selected and gained some international experience. It's something that we take massive pride from as a Club. We want to challenge our players with different experiences in order for them to develop and playing at international level helps us with that. Now that they've come back to the Club, we're very proud of their achievements.
"Hull City will provide a challenge to us in terms of how they play. The players who weren't involved at international level have had time to rest and recharge and as a squad, we're ready to go again. It's a busy schedule coming up, so we're prepared for an important few weeks coming up."
