U18 Match Preview | Cardiff City vs. Crewe Alexandra

City’s U18 side host Crewe Alexandra in the Professional Development League at Cardiff International Sports Stadium on Saturday – 12:45pm kick-off.

The Railwaymen currently sit sixth in Professional Development League Group North with eight losses, six wins and three draws to date.

Meanwhile, the Bluebirds are fifth in Group South and seven points off fourth place Millwall, but a victory would close the gap on the Lions and aid City's efforts to move up the table.

Crewe are currently enjoying a three-game unbeaten run, having defeated Hull City and Peterborough United before drawing in a stalemate with Wigan Athletic last time out, though City will be looking to end their streak.

The Bluebirds certainly know where the net is, impressively scoring 36 times in 18 games this term, and they will aim to strike again in what is expected to be a hard-fought encounter.
