Supporter Information | Leeds United (H)
Supporters should be aware of the following information ahead of Sunday’s Emirates FA Cup tie with Leeds United at Cardiff City Stadium.
Arriving at CCS
Home supporters are advised that there is a preferred walking route recommended for arriving at Cardiff City Stadium. From the city centre, this route will take you down Ninian Park Road into Canton before left towards Leckwith Road and the main gates of Cardiff City Stadium.
Please note that a police corden will be enforced on Sloper Road to ensure the safety of both sets of supporters.
Very limited car parking is available at the Stadium, and the home Car Park will close no later than 1pm.
Leaving CCS
Supporters should note that a 20 minute window will be enforced at the end of the game to allow the safe departure of all supporters.
The police corden will remain in place on Sloper Road, meaning that Leeds United fans will be escorted right out of the stadium towards Grangetown, and Cardiff City supporters will be asked to turn left towards Canton.
We appreciate that this may cause a degree of upheaval for any supporters resident in the Grangetown or central areas, but we ask for your understanding and patience to ensure a safe and secure matchday.
Stay Safe / Come early
Cardiff City Stadium, in line with all stadia in the City of Cardiff, request that fans come early to venues and allow extra time to pass security controls prior to entry.
Bulky items and large bags should be avoided being brought to the Stadium (the left luggage facility previously available at the Stadium has been withdrawn).
We ask all supporters and our guests to be alert but not alarmed, everybody at Cardiff City Stadium wants to ensure that we provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment and your assistance by allowing some extra time, while leaving behind large bags and bulky items is very much appreciated.
Please note that acceptance of being searched is a condition of entry and all bags and rucksacks will be searched and tagged so as stated above, please allow plenty of time to enter the stadium.
