Calum Chambers and newest Bluebird Yousef Salech were interviewed by Sky Sports following our comeback 2-2 draw with Millwall on Tuesday, January 21st.
Salech came off the bench for his second City appearance, and finished superbly seven minutes into added time to secure a point for Omer Riza's side with his first goal for the Club.
"If I'm honest, a big chance came before the one I scored," Yousef admitted. "As a striker, it's about going on and to keep being ready in the box. To sniff out the next chance even if you've missed the previous one. At the end of the day, the next chance is the most important.
"You think about missing one for a few seconds but I know I'm going to get another chance if I keep looking for it. It's about staying ready in the box and finding space and that's what happened in the end."
Chambers has shown exquisite form since moving into a defensive midfield position at the beginning of our seven game unbeaten run.
He added: "We put in real fighting spirit today. I'm buzzing for the boys and for the travelling fans.
"It was a bit of a slow start, but we fought hard and found a way to get something from the game. We're building a bit of momentum here. We had a great result on the weekend, and maybe we had a bit of lag from that tonight.
"But, the spirit and fight we showed to get back into it from two-nil down shows where we are at. We need to keep building on that."
The final word though went to our late goalscorer, who joined the Bluebirds from Swedish side, IK Sirius, who had finished their league campaign back in November.
While it may take Salech a bit of time to reach full match sharpness following a break from action, he's already making an impact in a City shirt.
He concluded: "It's a great crew here, and I'm really happy to be a part of it.
"Obviously, my season was built different to this one. It's about finding my feet and being available to push on. I want to give something every time in training and hopefully again making an impact in each game."
