Sabri pre-Preston North End | It's about the performance
Sabri Lamouchi spoke to the press ahead of City's trip to Preston North End this weekend, looking to build on the victory over Bristol City last time out.
"To win the derby, the first derby for me, was a lovely weekend." Sabri began. "But we started the week thinking about Preston because, as you know, every week is a different story.
"We are looking to the next one. It's really tough to play there, but after Bristol, where we deserved to win with this kind of performance, the players will be more confident.
"It's about the performance. If we are like we were in the last few games, probably it will be tough for them. If not, it will be really tough for us because we know the way they play, especially at home.
"We need to play with our quality, and do it all together. We need to keep working, because nothing is done. I've seen many changes in the attitude of the players. They are training very well, and they are focused."
Sabri went on to speak about Severnside scorer Jaden Philogene and goalkeeper Jak Alnwick, who is in line to feature at Deepdale with Ryan Allsop suspended.
On Jaden, Sabri said: "I don't know from the beginning of the season, but I saw immediately the quality of Jaden. I like his personality, but I like especially how he can help the team to play well and make the difference.
"He is young, and as you know with the young players you need to be close to them, talk with them and trust them.
"I was talking with Jak last week, about his mentality. I just wanted to say thank you to him, because he is always positive. He pushes Ryan to be better, to train good, he is never late, very professional.
"Ryan is the number one, and Jak knows the situation. Fortunately I am talking with an honest man, and a very good professional.
Sabri added: "Other than Callum Robinson, everyone else is available and ready for the game. They all want to play, and this is a good problem for me, for sure."
