Ryan Wintle pens a new three-year deal
Midfielder Ryan Wintle has extended his stay with the Bluebirds, putting pen to paper on a new three-year contract, which will run until the summer of 2026.
The 26-year-old joined City in 2021 from Crewe Alexandra and has since made 73 appearances for the Club.
He has been a key part of our squad since returning to the Club in January 2022 following a short-term loan with Blackpool. Wintle has found the net for the Bluebirds on two occasions so far, coming in a 3-1 win away at Wigan Athletic and a 2-2 draw at Stoke City.
Speaking at Cardiff City Stadium after signing his new deal, Ryan said: "I'm delighted. I'm happy to get this done. It's been on the cards for a while now.
"We're showing great ambition and hopefully we'll have a successful campaign ahead. It's a tough league this year, but with the squad we have, we can definitely push towards the top end of the table.
"The manager has come in and brought in a new style, and I think it suits me down to the ground.
"I'm really excited for my future here."
Congratulations, Ryan!
