Romeo post-WBA | A well earned draw
Mahlon Romeo spoke to Cardiff City TV following City's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday night.
The right-back returned to the side for the clash with the Baggies, and put in a solid outing in defence alongside Mark McGuinness, Perry Ng & Callum O'Dowda as Sabri Lamouchi's side changed to a back four for the clash.
"It was definitely a well earned point," Mahlon began. "It was always going to be tough, with the weather impacting the pitch against a really good team. It was a really good point. It's something that we needed and will prove very worthwhile in the end.
"We know we have to back up this point on Saturday. We need to make sure it meant something."
Sory Kaba scored his third City goal since joining the Club on loan in January. When asked about his teammate, Mahlon added: "If I'm not mistaken his goal was very similar to his goal the other week against Bristol City. He's doing really well.
"He's doing his thing. He's flying at the moment."
The international break is coming soon, but there is little chance for a rest before our next huge game, with the Bluebirds visiting Rotherham United on Saturday afternoon with just a single point separating the two teams.
Mahlon concluded: "It will be a completely different game. It'll be up to us to get in that mindset, turn things around and go again."
