After picking up two assists on his full City debut, Callum Robinson discussed over midweek win Middlesbrough with the press.
"We made it hard for ourselves, but we were all buzzing to get that win." the striker began. "It was a tough win today against a good team; they’ve got some quality players, so we knew it was going to be a tough night.
"It was disappointing to concede two goals, but I think to come here and get the three points is the main thing.
"Championship football can change so quickly – as quickly as we got three goals, they could have got three in the same amount of time.
"Hopefully we can get a run together. Unfortunately there’s an international break in between, but we’ll just look to Saturday now, try to keep that positive feeling and get another three points."
Having signed for the Bluebirds on Deadline Day, Robbo discussed his link-up with Callum O'Dowda, a Republic of Ireland teammate, for our opening goal.
He said: "I’m still getting used to the boys, but I’ve played with Callum a few times, and I know he likes that run in behind. As soon as I picked my head up, he made my mind up with a lovely run, and finished it off nicely.
"I’m obviously playing a little bit of catch-up; I missed three weeks in pre-season with an injury, so it was good to get some minutes and help the team win.
"That’s the main thing for me. I said that I want to come here and get goals and assists; I didn’t get my goal tonight, but I chipped in with a few assists, which is nice."
