Omer Riza spoke to the press following our defeat to Sheffield United on Friday evening.
“There were moments in the game we played quite well," Omer began. "I thought we contained Sheffield United well with our structure. They didn’t cause us loads of issues.
"We always knew it was going to be a tough game for us out of possession, but I thought we managed it quite well. Second-half, I thought we tried to take the game to them. By the end, they tried to get to a 4-5-1 to try to stop us from causing those problems.
"We probably didn’t quite cause enough problems when we were going forwards when we won the ball. I thought our moments needed to be cleaner and more decisive.
"The first goal took the momentum away at 0-0 where we still felt we could get something out of the game, then the second goal comes from a little error and it finishes 2-0."

The Bluebirds are in action on Bank Holiday Monday, welcoming Oxford United in a huge clash at Cardiff City Stadium.
Omer continued: “It’s only one point. Luton beat Derby today which keeps it all close. We’re going into the Oxford game and if we approach the Oxford game the way we tried to approach this game today, we feel we can get something out of it and take the points that we need.
“If you look at the performance today, we’ve come away to Sheffield United, who are fighting for promotion and there’s not much in the game.
"The goals we conceded came against the run of play. I thought we controlled the game quite well.
"We tried to create and score, but we couldn’t quite do it and now we go into Oxford on Monday taking moments of confidence from this game today to try and get the points."

The City boss concluded with an injury update on two substitutions made during the contest.
“It looks like Rubin Colwill has hurt his hamstring. Alex Robertson didn’t come off because of an injury, it was to liven it up and we needed a bit more energy in there. He’s come back from injury recently and felt a bit of tightness and cramp, so we had to freshen it up."
