Omer Riza spoke to the media following the Bluebirds’ home game against Luton Town.
“Disappointed is an understatement.” Omer began. “We’re putting a lot of energy into the games, we’re getting ourselves in good positions at times, but the same mistakes keep happening over and over. There are nine games left and we need to correct it.
“I can’t knock the effort or the commitment from the players, but the things that are costing us points are the same mistakes being repeated. All the games we haven’t won or taken points from is because of these reasons.
"Now, this is a fight. Now we’ll see who will step up and fight for this club. It looks like this is fight or flight."

Calum Chambers opened the scoring against the Hatters, but goals from Jordan Clark and Thelo Aasgaard meant it was the visitors who took three points.
Omer continued: “We’re in a real tough spot at the moment but it’s my job to deal with it. We’ve lost two games against two teams who are well up there in the league that we should have potentially taken some points from, but like I’ve said, we can’t talk about it as we haven’t done that. We’ve lost to a team tonight in and around us which really was our own undoing, so I’m really disappointed.”
“We’ve got nine games left, so we’ve got to fight for every game, every minute, every blade of grass and try and get results. We go back in and we prepare for Blackburn next to correct it.
"We’ll reassess everything, we’ll assess the squad, who is available or who is not, and I will be making the necessary changes to the squad to get the most out of it to get the result, and select the boys to go out on the pitch that want to fight.”
