“It’s a good point, but I think how the game went, and as much control we had in the first half, it's also disappointing." Andy began. "I think we knew we could have actually got three points there today, so it's frustrating one.

“I think we controlled it really well in the first half. We had a lot of opportunities, but we just lacked that killer instinct  to put them away and then make it more comfortable for us in the second half. We came out and then within a minute they equalize, so if we could have got that second goal or even a third, I think we were controlling the game that well.

"Obviously, the way it's turned out, it's unfortunate for us and we'll be looking to put it right again next game. I think we've shown good fight. We've been in games and been unlucky not to win more. Even the last Coventry one, conceding late on at Stoke was the same thing, but some of the performances have been very good.

“We stayed in the game after the sending off: solid, resilient, good shape and we didn't just sit off and let them have everything. We still then create chances with Ollie [Tanner] and Yaks [Méïté]. On another day they go in, we see out the game and get the three points which I think we probably deserved.

"Obviously we're not picking up the maximum points that we could be, but we are fighting and doing everything we can for the Club for the fans. We want to be getting the points and putting in good performances, and we did that today."

The 27-year-old has featured at right wing-back over the last few weeks, and discussed his new role within the XI.

"I've had a handful of games over my career where I’ve filled in when there's been an injury or a situation, which has been the same here really with Perry’s injury.

"I'm just happy to be playing games. That's all I want to do as a footballer, so whatever position it is, I'll always try and do my best in whichever role I’m asked, and I think I’m accounting myself well in there.

"It's just good to give the gaffer something to think about, whether it's in central midfield or in right back, I'm just happy to be playing games.”

Andy also praised his keeper and today’s captain, Jak Alnwick, who made some vital second half saves to keep the scores level.

"Jak has been excellent all season and we saw it again today. Late on, he keeps out a header and even things like his distribution on the ball; we got chances from him doing that. I think that's where Ollie’s chance comes from, so it’s Jak's all round game, not just saves.

"As a skipper today, he had a captain’s mentality, keeping us talking throughout the game, but he’s just been immense. Everyone is together as a team and everyone's pulling their weight, as you saw today."
