Finishing off a week of sustainability awareness around the Club, Sivert Mannsverk and Jesper Daland joined in an upcycling session to breathe new life into retro City shirts.
Ahead of City celebrating Retro Shirt Day for our Home fixture against Sheffield Wednesday this weekend, the First Team players headed to CCS to meet with Jack Wiles of Rugby Buckets and Dan Rees of Cardiff Classic Shirts, who kindly donated some iconic strips to be repurposed as one-of-a-kind bucket hats!
Highlighting that upcycling is another useful and creative way of finding new uses for older pieces of clothing, City supporters attending Saturday's match are encouraged to wear their favourite retro shirts to CCS! Take a photo on the day with the hashtag #RetroShirtDay while tagging the Club's official account on social media for the chance to win one of the bucket hats made this week!

Bluebirds looking to recycle unwanted football kit are also encouraged to donate shirts to KitAid, with Cardiff City FC Community Foundation also running their Boots for Bluebirds campaign!
