Ralls pre-Leeds United | It will be a great occasion
Ahead of Cardiff City's Emirates FA Cup Third Round Replay against Leeds United on Wednesday night, Joe Ralls previewed the upcoming fixture.
Following the Bluebirds' 2-2 draw against the Premier League outfit at CCS earlier this month, City will meet the Whites at Elland Road to decide who shall proceed to the Fourth Round.
"It's a good opportunity on the back of a good performance against them at home," began the City skipper. "Hopefully we can produce the same against them again and get through to the next round.
"It's a great occasion for the boys who've maybe not played at Elland Road before; I'm sure it will be packed out like it normally is, with a good atmosphere and experience for everyone.
"When I was younger I'd get some of my first minutes in the Cup, and it's a great opportunity for the younger lads to show what they can do. I think that a lot of the boys who played against Leeds did themselves no harm and had a good performance.
"It will be great for their experience going forward to play in that atmosphere. We came away from the home game disappointed with the late goal, but all in all we're really proud of that performance that the boys put in."
Joe concluded by praising the strong away support that City are expecting at Elland Road, with hundreds of supporters making their way to Leeds for the midweek Cup clash.
"It's brilliant support, for a game that's been added into the mix of a schedule in the week," said Rallsy. "To have so many supporters going up there is great. Hopefully we can put in a performance that they can be proud of."
