Ralls post-Peterborough | We're looking up
Having scored City's opener in a resounding 4-0 win over Peterborough United, Joe Ralls spoke to Cardiff City TV to express his delight at both the performance and the result.
"It was a great win, with plenty of goals." Rallsy began. "Obviously, it’s great to have the supporters here, and for them to see a big win. It’s been coming in recent weeks.
"We’ve felt that performances have definitely improved, and to get a good win like this is great for confidence and great for everyone, really.
"I think the boys are enjoying it again now, which is important. We’re looking like a proper team again now – we’re hard to beat, and we’re scoring goals, and that’s an important part of football. Hopefully we can keep building on this."
The City skipper went on to praise the impact of the new Bluebirds who joined the club in January, and urged his team to keep up their current fine form.
"We needed a bit of help, and we’ve got that in the transfer window. The lads who have come in have been brilliant. They’ve added to the group, and everyone else has stepped up. They are real good lads, and the boys behind the scenes have done brilliantly, making sure they are good people as well.
"You need the team spirit to be high. I think that’s a massive part of football, especially in this league. I think we just needed a little bit of help and we’ve got that now, to add to a good group already.
"I think hopefully we can kick on now, we’re looking up and hopefully we can start climbing that table sooner rather than later, and show that we’re a better side than we’ve shown so far this season."
