Press Conference: Neil Warnock pre-Blackburn Rovers
Ahead of the Bluebirds’ trip to Ewood Park to face Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon, Neil Warnock spoke to the assembled press at the Vale Resort.
The Gaffer began by discussing Wednesday night’s victory against Huddersfield Town, as the Bluebirds overcame a second half equaliser with Junior Hoilett scoring the winner in the 88th minute at CCS.
“I thought their response was fabulous, I asked them for a response individually and I couldn’t have wished for a better one from the lads.
“I could have asked for a few more goals but it was excellent. I asked them to be disciplined in midfield the other night and I thought that they were.
“I was disappointed with the goal that we conceded but overall I thought the midfield did well.”
The Gaffer concluded by looking ahead to Saturday’s visit to Ewood Park, sharing his thoughts for what lies ahead in the match against Blackburn Rovers.
“We’ve been okay at home and very poor defensively away from home. We’ve got to overcome that.
“We’ve had some changes but we’ve got to be a little more disciplined away from home. It’ll be a tough game Saturday, they’re a good side.”
