Pre-Swansea City | Emma Beynon
The Bluebirds compete in the Adran Trophy Final on Sunday, taking on Swansea City at the SDM Glass Stadium.
Ahead of the clash, we caught up with midfielder Emma Beynon.
"We’re all excited for the Final," she began. "It’s another massive game for us and one we are ready for. Of course, we want to win and we will give everything to lift that trophy at the end.
"Confidence is high going into the game after the performance against Wrexham. It was a good game for us to get back to winning ways. We’re hoping we can put that same performance into the game on Sunday."
The Adran Trophy has been a competition that has eluded the Bluebirds in recent years, losing out in the last two finals to Cardiff Met.
Emma continued: "Winning this competition was one of the goals we set out for at the beginning of the season. We want to be the best team and winning the Adran Trophy would be a great way to cement that.
"Swansea are always a tough side to play against. They’re a massive threat going forward, which we always prepare for and of course, it will be a tough game. I feel as a squad, we play much better under pressure, so hopefully we can put in a good performance on Sunday."
It's already been a positive campaign for City, who secured the Adran Premier title for a second consecutive year.
The Bluebirds now have two Cup Finals, with the Bute Energy Welsh Cup Final to follow on May 5th.
"Winning the league was a massive achievement for us as a team, but I feel we have more to give and we’re not quite done yet," Emma added.
"It would be a great way to cap off what has been an amazing season for us. It would mean so much to the whole squad to win after all the hard work we’ve put in throughout the season."
