We caught up with captain Siobhan Walsh ahead of the Bluebirds' Bute Energy Welsh Cup clash against Pontypridd United on Sunday.
City have progressed in the competition with wins over Llanelli Town and Swansea University.
The Bluebirds have recently had success in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup, having been victorious in both of the last two seasons.
"It'll be an interesting game this weekend," Siobhan began. "In a cup game, anything can happen. They'll definitely be up for the game. They haven't had the best of results in the league this season, so they'll be wanting to turn that around and get a result.
Siobhan has played a part in a strong defence for City this season, conceding just four goals in 11 matches.
"That's what I'm in the team for," Siobhan continued. "We want clean sheets in every game and I think as a team, we are so solid defensively. We just want to keep that record going now.
"The feeling in the squad is really positive at the moment. Everyone is playing well and we're winning, it's always better when that's happening. We're all working towards the same goal and that brings a positive feeling in the squad."
The Bluebirds have had an unbeaten start to the campaign, currently sitting at the top of the Adran Premier table.
City head into this Sunday's game on the back of victory over Pontardawe Town in the Adran Trophy last time out.
Siobhan concluded: "We want to keep pushing forward and keep winning. We've had a lot of success in this competition and we want to keep that going, so we'll be aiming to win the Cup again this year.
"A win this weekend would keep building that momentum that we've had. We want to continue our unbeaten run, so we'll be ready for Sunday's game."
