ADRAN PREMIER | SEASON SO FAR
The Bluebirds head into Sunday's fixture currently sitting seven points clear at the top of the table with three league matches remaining.
A win for City on Sunday would secure the Adran Premier title for a third consecutive season.
Last time out, Darbyshire's side claimed a dramatic 3-2 win over The New Saints. Trailing 2-0 heading into the final proceedings, goals from Nieve Jenkins, Shannon Evans and Megan Bowen secured a memorable victory.
In our Phase One battles with the Saints, City recorded a 2-0 win at Cardiff City Stadium earlier this season, before a 4-3 win at Park Hall in the reverse fixture.
Our opponents on Sunday are fourth in the table, having fallen to defeat in their three Phase Two matches so far.

PRE-MATCH | IAIN DARBYSHIRE
Ahead of the contest, head coach Iain Darbyshire said: “The support of the fans is massive. This season, we've had a good singing section and the fans have really pushed their support of the Women’s team. We’ve got brilliant fans who follow us home and away, which is incredible to see and it really does mean a lot to the players and the staff. When the players hear their names being sung, it makes them feel a part of something special. We’re hugely grateful for the fans’ support this year and hopefully, they can give us a big push on Sunday to get us over the line.
“The hard work that has got us to this point, I can’t really put it into words. I think this has been the most challenging season of my coaching career, but all the staff and the players would say the same. There have been a lot of ups and downs, a lot of change. To say we were in a rebuild would be an understatement, but we went into it with the mindset of needing to adapt to be able to challenge for titles, because we’re Cardiff City Football Club and that’s where we should be. When you put in the hard work, you reap the rewards and our players have given so much.
“The New Saints were really good last week and were good in the Cup Semi-Final against us. They’ve been impressive this season and our games with them have been decided by moments. They'll be wanting a reaction and they know they're not far off challenging for titles and have already got the Adran Trophy this season to build on.
“For us, it's about managing the emotion on the day and making sure that we just play our game. We don’t worry about results elsewhere, we’ll aim to win our game. It’ll be another fantastic match against a great team.”
