Ahead of this weekend's Adran Premier clash against Aberystwyth Town, we caught up with Kerry Walklett.
Having joined the Bluebirds in January, the midfielder began by reflecting on her time at the Club so far.
"It's gone really well. I've been very lucky because since joining, there have been some really exciting things going on. My first game was at Cardiff City Stadium against Wrexham, which was massive. Now, we've won two Semi-Finals to get into both Finals and that's been exciting.
"It's been quite tough to come in and perform as best I can while the team are doing so well and smashing it, it's been quite demanding, but it's been really good. I've spent a lot of time with the squad and they've been very welcoming."
Aberystwyth Town secured their place in the top four on the final day of Phase One, having recorded a dramatic 3-3 draw against The New Saints.
In the meetings between the two sides this season, there have been a goalless draw, along with 5-0 and 4-0 wins for City.
Kerry continued: "We faced them a few weeks ago and even though we came out with the win in the end, they gave us a really tough run for the first 30 minutes. The pitch and the weather certainly didn't help, but it was massive for us to get a win in that game.
"We want to go into Phase Two with a lot of momentum. We've bounced back from the game against Swansea. In training, there's a lot of life in us and we want to build positivity going into these important games coming up."
Last time out, the Bluebirds booked a place in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup Final with a brilliant 3-1 win over Swansea City Women.
Kerry came on as a substitute, as Iain Darbyshire's bench made a great impact, with goals for Molly Kehoe and Megan Bowen.
"My confidence and fitness levels are building slowly," Kerry added. "I definitely don't think I'm where I want to be just yet. I'd like to contribute more and I feel like I'm settling in more every week.
"I'm getting more confident with every week that goes by and I think there's more to come from me. I'll be able to show the fans a lot more as time goes on."
