Perry Ng signs new City deal

City defender Perry Ng has signed a new deal with the Bluebirds.

Our number 38 has penned an agreement to keep him at the Club until the summer of 2026.

Ng joined City in January 2021 from Crewe Alexandra. He has been an essential player for the Club ever since.

He has scored two goals for the Bluebirds to date, both wonder strikes away from Cardiff City Stadium. Ng netted a wonderful individual effort against Middlesbrough last season before unleashing a brilliant free-kick against Birmingham City earlier this year. He even took up the goalie gloves at the end of the Severnside derby win in March. His heroics throughout the campaign saw Perry win two trophies at the 2023 awards - Player's Player of the Season and Player of the Season.

Perry spoke to Cardiff City TV after signing his new deal on Thursday.

"I'm made up," Perry began. "My family are happy here and so am I. I love the City and love the Club. I'm buzzing to get it done.

"I think this Club has good ambition, as you can see with the summer we've had. We just have to show it on the pitch now. I can't wait for the future.

"The fans have been brilliant with me so far. We need to repay their support."
