Perry Ng reacted to the Bluebirds’ victory in the Severnside derby over Bristol City.
The City defender opened the scoring with a header from Joe Ralls’ corner to net in consecutive games, following his fantastic free-kick in the win over Huddersfield Town in midweek.
“I don’t get many with my head, so it was nice!” Perry began. “I just tried to cause mayhem in the box and luckily, it landed on my head.
“After the Blackburn Rovers defeat, we’ve bounced back at Huddersfield Town and have come here. This place is hard to come now, and we just need to keep it up.”
The victory sees City rise to fifth in the Sky Bet Championship table, having claimed six points from a possible nine since returning from the international break.
At Cardiff City Stadium, the Bluebirds have stretched their unbeaten run to six matches.
“We’ve got a really good group now,” Perry added. “We’ve got some really good players and we look like a proper team.
“It’s unbelievable. Compared to last year, it’s a different place. We’ve been good in derbies recently, so let’s keep it up and keep this place bouncing.”
