Ng | A massive club & a big opportunity
CARDIFF CITY TV | NG SIGNS FOR CITY
Speaking in his first interview as a Bluebird, Perry Ng revealed his excitement to get going in the Cardiff City shirt.
Having signed at CCS on Tuesday morning, the right-back joined Cardiff City TV to look forward to the challenge ahead.
"I'm over the moon," he began. "It's a massive club and a big opportunity for me. I'm looking forward to the step up and I'm excited.
"The CEO worked hard to get me here, which I appreciate a lot. He showed a lot of faith in me, so now I've got to repay him, repay the gaffer and the owner, to play well and hopefully get this club back where it belongs."
The 24-year-old is certainly not lacking in leadership experience, having skippered Crewe Alexandra to League One promotion in 2019/20.
He went on to explain what attributes he hopes to bring to the Bluebirds' side.
"I think the style of play here suits me," he continued. "I just can't wait to show it and repay the faith in me.
"I'm not very loud off the pitch but I like to be loud on it! Hopefully I can lead by example on the pitch.
"I like attacking and I like defending as well, so I'll just look to play my normal game."
Finally, having got straight into the thick of the action in his first training session, Perry looked forward to the prospect of Wednesday evening's clash with QPR.
"I enjoyed the first session and know a few of the lads which made that easier," he added. "Now I'm excited to get playing.
"We worked on the match today. It's a winnable game so we just have to work hard and hopefully get the three points."
