Morison pre-Swansea City | We all have to play our part
Ahead of Saturday afternoon's South Wales derby, Steve Morison spoke to the press to preview City's return to CCS.
"Both ourselves and Swansea are in a similar place in the league, having gotten there in different ways," Steve began. "We’re both in decent form recently, and it sets itself up for a decent game.
“It will be the first game off the back of a long break as well, so it will be a good game to go back into.
"We know how they like to play by dominating the ball, but it'll be a case of trying to control the atmosphere and emotions. When the moment comes, it's about putting your stamp on the game."
With the squad now back together following the international break, Steve spoke of the focus of the group ahead of the weekend, as well as the importance of performing in front of the City faithful in the stands at CCS.
“The players who’ve been training with us since the Stoke game have been working hard to remain match ready," Steve continued. "Following the downtime that we’ve all needed, everybody came back in yesterday after playing or travelling, so today we'll get out on to the grass and make sure they are ready to play tomorrow.
“We’re trying to build on everything that we’ve done so far, and everything is creeping up and going in the right direction.
"Tomorrow it will be really nice to have that noise from the off. We need to make sure that the noise stays the same for the full 90 minutes. We have to play our part in that by performing."
