Mick pre-Reading | We need a performance to be proud of
Mick McCarthy spoke to the press and media ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship clash with Reading.
The Gaffer eyed an improved performance at CCS as he called for a response in the press conference, which you can watch in full on Cardiff City TV.
"We need a performance," he began. "We need a performance that we can be proud of and the fans can be proud of. That will help to start to turn things around.
"We still have to maintain the positive things we’ve done over the last six or seven months, maintain those, maybe get shot of some of the things that are not working and try something else. But I still believe in what we’re trying to do.
"First and foremost, we have to get that performance and that result. I'm looking forward to the game and hopefully we can play well. That's what we're aiming for and what we want to do is win the game, of course."

Ten years on from Joe Ralls' league debut for the Bluebirds, this Saturday sees us pay tribute to a decade of service from our number eight, as Mick continued.
"We've got him back fit and ready to play," he added. "It's a fabulous achievement because he's only 27 now.
"Having started at 17 and become such a regular, such a good player and a fans' favourite is such an achievement and I hope it's a special one for him this Saturday."
