In Memory: Frank Burrows

All of us at Cardiff City were saddened to learn of the passing of two-time Bluebirds manager Frank Burrows at the age of 77 earlier today.

Frank first became Cardiff City manager in 1986, leading the team to promotion into the Third Division in 1987/88.  He returned to Ninian Park for a second spell in charge in 1998, again winning promotion in the Welsh capital. His team of 1998/99 finished third in the Third Division, earning automatic promotion to the Second Division.

All of our thoughts are with Frank’s friends and family at this sad time.
