In Memory | Cecil Dixon

Cardiff City Football Club has been saddened to learn of the passing of Cecil Dixon at the age of 89.

Cecil spent three years with the Bluebirds at Ninian Park, between 1954-1957, playing 21 times. He made his debut for the Bluebirds at Goodison Park against Everton.

He went on to appear for Newport County and Northampton Town before moving to Australia, where he was a multiple time champion with J.U.S.T.

Our thoughts are with Cecil’s wife Jill, and all of his loved ones at this very difficult time.
