The points were shared at Loftus Road on Saturday, as the Bluebirds drew 0-0 with Queens Park Rangers.
Omer Riza made two changes to the starting XI, with Andy Rinomhota replacing Perry Ng and Rubin Colwill coming in for Calum Chambers. Callum Robinson returned to the bench after missing our draw with Sheffield Wednesday through injury.
The hosts had the first shooting opportunity through Alfie Lloyd, though Ethan Horvath was easily able to gather the forward's low effort. City skipper Callum O'Dowda replied with a strike of his own, which was blocked by a Rangers defender.
Paul Smyth was next to test Horvath with a fierce drive, but the American stopper managed to get his body behind the ball and send it out for a corner. For City, Colwill sent a swerving shot towards goal, which wasn't too far wide of Paul Nardi's upright.

Bluebirds boss Riza made three changes at the break, with Robinson, Ollie Tanner and Jesper Daland introduced to open the game up.
Yousef Salech grew into the match in the second period, and should have been awarded a penalty after having his shirt tugged inside the area by Ronnie Edwards. The City striker went close not long afterwards, cutting inside and sending a powerful strike just over the bar.
Colwill also saw more touches in possession, and sent a lovely lofted pass in the direction of Tanner. The winger, inside the box, took aim on the volley but send the ball wide of the target.
The introduction of Yakou Méïté gave the Bluebirds another attacking outlet, and it wasn't long before he took aim on goal, curling into the arms of Nardi.

The hosts had a flurry of late corners which tested Ethan Horvath, with the stopper twice forced to tip over his crossbar. Horvath also made a flying save to deny Paul Smyth, keeping the scoresheet empty.
In the final stages, both Robinson and Méïté sent headers over the bar as the Bluebirds pushed for a winner, but it wasn't to be. With a valuable point on the board, City head to Preston North End on Tuesday, 8th April (7:45pm kick-off) for their next Championship fixture.
