CITY FLASHBACK | LESLIE JONES STRIKES FOR CITY

The Bluebirds first ever win over Sunday’s opponents came in December 1930, when City hosted Swansea Town.

In front of 24,232 fans at Ninian Park, the key moment came from Leslie Jones.

A talented attacker, Jones netted the only goal of the game to record an historic win for the Bluebirds.

Jones represented City between 1929 and 1934, scoring 31 league goals for the Club.
