The Bluebirds host Oxford United on Easter Monday at Cardiff City Stadium.
The fixture will take place on April 21st, with a kick off time of 3pm.

OPPOSITION FOCUS | IN THE DUGOUT
Oxford United’s manager is Gary Rowett, who was appointed in December 2024.
Rowett enjoyed a long playing career, representing the likes of Birmingham City, Leicester City and Derby County.
Following his playing career, he earned his stripes as a coach in the Derby County and England youth setups before stepping into management at Burton Albion in 2012.
While at the Brewers, he led the side to two consecutive Play-Off finishes, but was unable to gain promotion on either occasion.
The former defender then went on to have spells at Birmingham City, Derby County and Stoke City before joining Millwall, where he would spend the next four years.
During his time at the Lions, he achieved three top-half Championship finishes before departing in October 2023.
Rowett briefly took charge of the Blues as interim manager last season, before settling in Oxfordshire midway through the current term.
Since taking charge of the U’s, he has achieved a win percentage of 36.36%, winning eight times, drawing six and losing eight.

OPPOSITION FOCUS | SEASON SO FAR
Our visitors head into Monday's contest sat 19th in the Sky Bet Championship.
The U’s have struggled on the road this campaign, picking up just 13 of their 48 points on their travels.
Last time out, the side fell to a 1-0 Good Friday defeat to Leeds United, with Manor Solomon netting a first-half winner.

STATZONE
The Bluebirds and U’s have met just 26 times throughout their history.
November 1968 was the first time the two sides played each other. Goals from Brian Clark and John Toshack secured a 2-0 win for City, which the Bluebirds followed up with an emphatic 5-0 win against the U’s later that season.
The two clubs have met just three times since the turn of the millennium, with one game ending in a draw and both sides recording one win respectively.
The last time the Bluebirds hosted Oxford United in the Welsh capital was back in January 2000. Matt Murphy put the visitors in front late in the first half, but shortly after the interval, Kevin Nugent equalised to ensure a share of the spoils.

CLUB CONNECTIONS | JOSH MURPHY
Josh Murphy joined the Bluebirds in 2018 from Norwich City ahead of our Premier League campaign.
During his time in the Welsh capital, he made 29 top-flight appearances in the 2018/19 season, scoring three times, and went on to appear a further 59 times in the Championship, recording a combined 15 goals and assists in the second tier.
In 2022, the winger left the Bluebirds for the U’s and went on to appear 62 times for the Oxfordshire-based side.
He played a crucial part in their promotion last season, scoring both goals in a 2-0 win over Bolton Wanderers in the League One Play-Off Final to secure promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.
Murphy departed the Kassam Stadium at the start of the current season, joining Portsmouth on a three-year deal.
