Bluebirds boss Sabri Lamouchi spoke to the press after his side fell to a narrow defeat at Kenilworth Road.
"I think in the first half we deserved to score, and we didn’t." Sabri began. "Ryan saved a penalty, and we were probably thinking we were close to the clean sheet, to the point and to the draw.
"We need to fight until the last minute. I’m disappointed for the boys, because they tried. They fought, and I cannot complain about that.
"It's difficult to defend here, with the way the play. But, one goal was enough to lose the game tonight."
Sabri went on to discuss the attacking elements of City's performance, before turning his attention to Saturday's clash with Hull City.
"There was not too much in the second half. They made a good stop from [Sheyi] Ojo, with his left, but just one is not enough.
"I changed two offensive players to send the message to keep the result, keep more of the ball and play with more confidence.
"I need to find the best solution, the best system, the best players, and the best way to move on. It's really important to never give up, and to fight until the end.
"We need to work, but I saw some positive things. Back home we will recover tomorrow, have training after tomorrow, and another game at Hull."
