Robinson returns to international action
Callum Robinson was selected for the Republic of Ireland squad for the first time since his return from injury.
The City attacker came on as a second half substitute as the side fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Greece.
Also featuring as a replacement for the following game against Gibraltar, Robinson netted the fourth in a 4-0 win for Stephen Kenny’s men.

Siopis features for Greece
During Greece’s 2-0 win over the Republic of Ireland, City midfielder Manolis Siopis came on as a late substitute.
Facing the Netherlands in their next fixture, Greece put in a battling display, but conceded a 93rd minute goal to settle the contest, as Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk netted a penalty. City’s Dimitrios Goutas was named as a substitute.
The international window sees Greece sit third in Group B, level on 12 points with the Netherlands having played one game more.

Four points for Rúnarsson’s Iceland
The international window saw City loanee Alex Rúnarsson compete in two home fixtures in UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying.
Facing Luxembourg in their first fixture, Rúnarsson started between the sticks as the side were held to a 1-1 draw.
City’s goalkeeper didn’t feature in the second match, with Iceland recording a 4-0 win over Liechtenstein.

Mixed window for Sawyers
Competing in the CONCACAF Nations League, midfielder Romaine Sawyers featured for Saint Kitts and Nevis this month.
The side faced Sint Maarten in a double header, with the first contest going the way of Saint Kitts and Nevis, as Romaine started in a 3-2 win.
In the home fixture, Sint Maarten came out on top with a 1-0 victory, but Romaine and his teammates are still top of the group after four fixtures played.

Ashford on target for Wales U21s
Continuing their UEFA Euro U21 qualification campaign, Wales U21s took on the Czech Republic looking to continue their unbeaten start.
With Rubin Colwill starting, Wales trailed heading into injury time, only for substitute Cian Ashford to net a brilliant volley to earn his side a point. City left-back Tom Davies was named as a substitute.
At U19 level, City’s Josh Beecher, Luey Giles, Dylan Lawlor, Dan Barton, Troy Perrett, Tanatswa Nyakuhwa and Japhet Matondo were all selected for fixtures against Austria, England and Montenegro.
Earning a goalless draw against Austria, Wales followed up with a 1-1 draw against England.
In the third match of the qualifying campaign, the side fell to a 3-0 defeat to Montenegro.
