Robinson’s return to Republic of Ireland
Callum Robinson has been selected for the Republic of Ireland squad for the first time since his return from injury.
Robinson has made seven appearances for the Bluebirds in all competitions this season, netting in the Carabao Cup against Blackburn Rovers.
Stephen Kenny’s side will be looking to bounce back from defeats to France and the Netherlands in the last international window, with fixtures this time around against Greece and Gibraltar.

Siopis and Goutas selected by Greece
City’s summer signing Manolis Siopis has been selected by Greece for their upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying matches against the Republic of Ireland and the Netherlands.
Defender Dimitrios Goutas has also been called-up by boss Gus Poyet ahead of two important qualification games.
The side are currently third in Group B, having picked up nine points from their opening five matches.
In the last international window, Greece suffered a 3-0 defeat to the Netherlands, before winning 5-0 against Gibraltar.

Two home games for Rúnarsson’s Iceland
Goalkeeper Alex Rúnarsson has been included by Iceland for their UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying fixtures against Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.
The side had a mixed international window in September, picking up three points from two fixtures.
Rúnarsson and his teammates fell to a 3-1 defeat to Luxembourg, before defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina 1-0, leaving them fifth in Group J.

Young Bluebirds selected for Wales
Several Bluebirds have been selected to represent Wales’ age-grade sides this month.
At U21 level, Rubin Colwill, Joel Colwill and Cian Ashford have been called-up for a 2025 UEFA European U21 Championship qualifier against the Czech Republic.
After initially being named in the squad, Eli King has withdrawn from international action this month and has been replaced by fellow Bluebird Tom Davies, who earns his first U21 call-up.
For a qualifying triple-header ahead of the 2024 UEFA European U19 Championship, City’s Josh Beecher, Luey Giles, Dylan Lawlor, Dan Barton, Troy Perrett, Tanatswa Nyakuhwa and Japhet Matondo have all been selected, with their fixtures all being played in Montenegro.
