Harris post-Bournemouth | We're up and running now
BOURNEMOUTH REACTION | HARRIS
Neil Harris held a post-match press conference following the Bluebirds' 1-1 draw with AFC Bournemouth.
The City boss underlined the importance of getting off the mark at home, following an entertaining contest with the Cherries at CCS.
"It was enjoyable," began Neil. "I think you saw two really good teams on the pitch, that was the first and foremost.
"Was a point fair? Well, we had good chances but I think they did as well. It was end-to-end and in the second half in particular we went toe-to-toe.
"The first goal was going to be key tonight. I thought if we got in front, we really would hurt them on the counter attack. The goal going against us put us on the back foot, but credit to my players again – they showed great character to come back.
"Not only to come from behind against a top side, but to get off the mark at home is important for all of us: the staff, the players, the fans.
"We're up and running now and that's three really good performances in the last three games."
