Goutas pre-QPR | We have to be ready
Ahead of Wednesday night's fixture against QPR, Cardiff City TV caught up with Dimitrios Goutas.
Heading into the match following a hard-fought battle for a point at Hillsborough over the weekend, City's number 4 now expects another tough challenge under the lights at CCS.
“Playing at home is always a nice feeling,” began Dimi. “We have to be very strong to have a good performance on Wednesday and take the three points.
“We’re happy to have taken a point against a good team that was fighting for everything. The conditions weren’t too good, and we fought to get the draw, so we’re looking forward to the next game now.
“Wednesday will be hard again; they are fighting at the bottom of the league so they will be going for the points. We have to be ready mentally and physically."
Concluding, Goutas discussed his experience of featuring for the Bluebirds throughout the season so far, holding central defensive duties alongside summer signings Calum Chambers and Jesper Daland.
“I’m feeling good and I’m happy that I’m performing well for the team, I hope that this continues. We’ve got good defenders in this side and I like playing with them.
"We all help each other and I hope that we can continue to play well.”
