Recognised at the FBAs 2019…

Cardiff City FC Community Foundation has been awarded the Bronze Award at this year’s Football Business Awards in the ‘Best Football Community Scheme – non-Premier League’ for our work with children and young people with a disability.

Recognised alongside the Foundation of Light and Bristol Rover Community Trust, the FBAs is an annual ceremony that pays tribute to the supporting organisations that assist and enable the success of football.

Maerdy lift Primary Stars Girls Cup…

Maerdy Primary School from Rhondda Cynon Taff have been crowned this year’s Primary Stars girls-only tournament in partnership with New Directions Education.

The competition gave girls aged nine to eleven in primary school education the opportunity to take part in competitive sport, as the Foundtion support healthier lifestyle.

The Bluebirds Charity has been proudly supporting Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign, that aims to make sport available to all.

Beneficiaries from across the Foundation’s projects as well as the Cardiff City first team and Women’s team showed their support, as we proudly stand alongside Stonewall in promoting equality and diversity.

Bluebirds Healthy Hearts project launches…

We’ve launched a brand-new project in partnership with Heart Research UK and Subway to help City fans gets fit across a 10-week programme.

The project works with men over the age of 18, who fit the criteria and are looking to improve their physical and mental health.
