Bluebirds celebrate Black History Month...
Curtis Nelson and Leandro Bacuna joined the Bluebirds Charity and young people from our Premier League Kicks Project as we rounded-off our Black History Month celebrations.
Working with Race Council Cymru, we welcomed participants from Cardiff, Barry, Ebbw Vale and Aberdare to Cardiff International Sports Campus to take part in tournaments and interactive workshops, focussing on Black people in Wales and their positive contribution to society.
Re-launching Premier League Kicks…
Staying with Kicks, the Bluebirds Charity re-launched Premier League Kicks by welcoming both men’s and women’s sides from Bristol Rovers, Newport County and Swansea City.
The South West Regional tournament celebrated the impact that Premier League Kicks has had on young people’s lives in high need areas across Cardiff and South Wales.
City stars visit Soccer Schools…
The Bluebirds Charity welcomed over 150 young Bluebirds to Soccer Schools last week, with some special guests joining us at Cardiff City House of Sport.
Lee Tomlin, Robert Glatzel, Brian Murphy and Tavio D’Almeida took time out of their busy schedules to meet and chat with participants, before taking part in a Q&A and signing autographs.
Well-being at Cardiff City Stadium…
The Bluebirds Charity welcomed over 40 young people from secondary schools from across Cardiff who are participants on our Primary Stars Transition Project to Cardiff City Stadium for a Well-being Event.
14 organisations were supported by City’s Will Vaulks and Cardiff City FC Women’s Alana Murphy and Ellie Cartwright in sharing advice surrounding the importance of physical and mental well-being.
